Hardware Group wins award for Best Employer Contribution for apprenticeships

Hardware Group is proud to receive an award from Cirencester College for Best Employer Contribution to the College, in the Apprenticeships category. On Saturday 8 April, Eddie Murray, Mike Southby, Will Housden and Jordan Selby, attended Cirencester College’s 25th Annual Awards Ceremony where they received the awards.

Hardware Group hosts work experience students from local colleges

During April, Hardware Group welcomed four students into the business for a week’s worth of work experience to support the theory they have learned on their courses.
Alice Taylor and Jess Hemns, IT & Software Development BTEC students from New College in Swindon, found out about the opportunity through Eddie Murray, Talent Acquisition Partner at Hardware Group, who is aligned to local colleges.

Proud sponsors of Bliss Baby Bikers: Part Deux

Hardware Group is proud to have been a Gold sponsor of Bliss Baby Bikers: Part Deux (BBB2), a group who cycled 550 miles from Paris to Nice to raise money for two charities.
Setting off on 18th September, the group cycled south from the Eiffel Tower in Paris to arrive at the Promenade d’Anglais in Nice six days later. These 21 Bliss Baby Bikers cyclists raised £26,600 for two charities, Bliss and The Ashley Scrivens Foundation.

Hardware South Africa Project Water Drop

On Friday the 22nd January 2016 staff from Hardware South Africa responded to an announcement from Jacaranda FM that they were launching Project Water Drop, an initiative to donate and transport water to Lichtenburg in the North West. The initiative, which partnered with ‘Water Shortage South Africa’ was created to help people that had been severely affected by the recent drought.
Hardware South Africa employees rallied together to collect and donate water with the local community, which totaled over 2 Million… Read More
