Stewart joined Hardware Group as Executive Chairman in 2014.
He supports the CEO by developing corporate governance structures, ensuring best practices and building out Hardware Group strategy. Stewart brings substantial experience in the technology sector with over 20 years of sales, marketing and engineering expertise at board level, along with capital raising and public market listing.
Stewart started life designing fly-by-wire avionics systems before moving into more mainstream technology; he served as Marketing Director from start up through IPO for Business Objects (now part of SAP), Executive Vice President Europe for Stanford Technology Group (now part of IBM) and EVP MicroStrategy Inc (NASD: MSTR).
Stewart sits on a number of other boards in the technology and retail sector.
Simon joined Hardware Group in 2004 and has been part of the Executive team since 2006 and appointed to CEO in 2014. As a natural strategist and communicator, Simon drives change within the organisation and leads the direction of the Hardware Group across EMEA and the Americas.
His vision and growth aspirations have enabled the Hardware Group to achieve double-digit annual growth, international expansion and gain international accreditations.
Prior to joining Hardware Group, Simon held a global board position with Type 20 SRL, a sister company to Luxottica, and was responsible for driving marketing and business development strategy across EMEA & USA.
Prior to his move into the IT Sector, Simon also served in executive positions for a number of successful start-up ventures and as a consultant to various entrepreneurial projects within the music and action sports industry.
Simon holds a BA/BSC in Combined Studies: European Business Systems from the London Guildhall University.
Charlie has been with Hardware Group since 2004 and is responsible for Hardware Group sales, customer services and business development across EMEA. With comprehensive technical knowledge and sharp business development skills, Charlie drives the Hardware Group engine. He is instrumental in delivering results that have enabled the execution of the Hardware Group’s growth and expansion strategy.
With a natural ability to seek opportunities and understand customer requirements, Charlie has been pivotal in the sales success of the UK businesses. Charlie has also pioneered new group policies across EMEA and the Americas to ensure best practice and maintain high customer service levels.
Prior to joining Hardware Group, Charlie spent several years in the city derivatives markets trading futures and options at the London International Financial Futures Exchange (LIFFE) and other global exchanges.
Charlie holds a BA Hons from King's College London.
Gwyn joined Hardware Group as Chief Operating Officer in 2016 and is responsible for finance and business operations.
Gwyn supports the CEO and Board by playing a central role in formulating and driving our strategy, growing the business, increasing shareholder value and instilling corporate governance and best practice business processes. He has extensive experience in corporate finance, commercial analysis and deploying robust financial controls.
Gwyn started his career as a Chartered Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers and prior to his move to Hardware Group, had held senior Head Office commercial finance roles at major retailers WH Smith and Somerfield and as Group Finance Director at Crown Golf, the UK's largest golf and leisure operator.
Gwyn holds a BSc in Management Science from Swansea University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
